Michigan Congressional District 7

Michigan's no-excuse absentee voting and same-day registration make CD-7 a ballot-chase district: most of the turnout work is helping voters request, fill out, and return absentee ballots rather than get them to a polling place. Walks here start in late September and run through November. Target precincts are student neighborhoods near MSU where absentee request rates lag turnout rates, plus rural townships where past-cycle Dem performance was within 10 points but absentee uptake was under 30%.
