About Footsteps with Devo

Footsteps with Devo exists for one reason: to put experienced and first-time volunteers on doorsteps in the districts where door-knocking has the highest proven per-dollar impact on election outcomes. We don't take PAC money. We don't run ads. We don't endorse candidates. We pick districts based on public margin data and organize the people who want to walk.\n\nWe believe the most important civic technology is shoes, a clipboard, and a willingness to have a 2-minute conversation with a neighbor. Everything else — this website included — is just plumbing to help people find each other.

Founded by Edwin Allen and 'Devo' — two longtime volunteers who got tired of watching races within 3,000 votes slip through the cracks. Organized by a growing team of district captains in each priority area. All volunteer. No salaries. No overhead.\n\nThis platform was built pro bono by Netrun Systems on the Sigil CMS open-source framework.
